INCREASING THE PROJECT CAPACITY - A FACTOR FOR ACHIEVING SMART GROWTH IN THE INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE
ABSTRACT - The project capacity is an established effective approach for achieving quality results in the industrial enterprise in a dynamic external environment. These results are directly dependent on the achieved level of development of project capacity in the enterprise.
The management of each project is a professional activity based on the knowledge, habits, methods, tools and technologies aimed at achieving competitive advantages and business growth. Accordingly, the methods and tools of project management are directly aimed at implementing the strategy of the enterprise.
The prevailing dynamics in the business environment objectively requires the application of new concepts in the field of project management and the corresponding development of project capacity in each enterprise. Based on the world achievements in the field of project management, an attempt has been made to further develop some theoretical premises in project management and a proposed model for the development of project capacity in the industrial enterprise. The structure and content of the project capacities as a management category are presented, taking into account the world standards and models for assessment of the organizational maturity of the project management and respectively the requirements to the competencies of the project staff.
