ABSTRACT This article discusses the application of various graphic techniques on the design of fashion illustration in the early twentieth century. The main focus is on the influence of Art Nouveau and the pochoir pattern printing technique on the design of fashion engraving. Examples from different authors are considered and the different currents in art that took place at the beginning of the last century are analyzed.
