ABSTRACT: The main problems and trends in modern agriculture that we highlight in this article are: low productivity and competitiveness; an aging farming population; lack of investment in agriculture; dependence on traditional cultures; need to stimulate small and family agribusiness; environmental challenges; need for training. All of them clearly confirm the need to adopt a concept of achieving sustainability by implementing environmentally friendly practices and conducting appropriate trainings, adopting and implementing adequate and environmentally friendly solutions to achieve a sustainable management process in modern agriculture.
