The article examines the concept of national security and its economic aspects in the context of security of international relations. The measures that ensure the realization of the goals and tasks of the national security and the mutual relations between the economy and the instruments for the implementation of the chosen security strategy are analyzed.
Special attention is paid to national, regional and global security risks and the state's ability to exercise effective control over the internal and external security environment, which in the context of globalization are constantly strengthening their interconnectedness.
