ABSTRACT This scientific article focuses on the prerequisites for the emergence and management of organizational conflicts in the context of the interaction between the leader and the team. The aim of the research is to derive the characteristic features of the conflicts between the leader and the team and to present a toolkit of strategies for their resolution and effective management. This goal is achieved by analyzing the relationship "management - conflict", examines in detail the features of conflict paradigms, derives the positive and negative effects of conflict, as well as their relationship with the degree of correspondence between the interests and behavior of the individual and group. The focus is on conflicts in the process of interaction between the leader and the team or between individual organizational members, which raises the need for their timely diagnosis and management.
