ABSTRACT - The protection of data subjects before the national supervisory authority is carried out by appealing against the acts and actions of the controllers or processors of personal data. This protection is of great practical importance for data subjects in cases where their rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Personal Data Protection Act have been violated. The purpose of this statement is to present the essential substantive and procedural aspects of the protection against a controller or processor of personal data to the supervisory authority, which provides for the new regulatory framework in the field of personal data protection.
