ORGANIZATIONAL ASPECTS OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF SERVICES
ABSTRACT - This paper focuses on the challenges and role of leadership in the management of service organizations. It examines theoretical statements that describe the nature and characteristics of the concept of "leadership", as well as the development of ideas about organizational leadership and leadership. The emphasis is on the role of the leader in achieving effective management of organizations operating in the tertiary sector. After studying the features and properties of the services, the basic factors of influence and the guidelines for determining the necessary leadership qualities and competencies for effective management, according to the specifics of the activity, are derived.
