ABSTRACT - Online education is an area of study rapidly gaining popularity across the globe and in Bulgaria. Its tools are subject of numerous theoretical and practical reports due to the importance of goal-oriented implementation and result seeking procedures. The software, virtual classroom, is thoroughly studied so that instructors and tutors in higher education are able to use effectively its tools. The virtual classroom is presented by detailed study of its functionalities and the practical advantages of implementing it in courses taught in humanities and other areas of science.
