ABSTRACT - This article focuses on the impact of the processes in the art and their influence on the design of the fashion illustration in the first half of the twentieth century. The different aspects of the emerging styles and trends in painting, architecture and design are analyzed. Subject of the study is the modern abstract art and its reflection on the design of the fashion illustration.
